Hello Friends,

The Pacific Yearly Meeting’s Electronic Communications Subcommittee has been charged with conducting a survey on the usage of computers by Friends, mostly focusing on information you wish to provide regarding the use of Electronic Communication (EC) in conducting Friends’ business and following Quaker (PYM) process at the Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly and individual levels.

Please help us by completing and returning this brief questionnaire by April 30, 2008.

Part 1 is optional, but that information will help us provide feedback on the survey’s results.

Each individual, monthly meeting, worship group, or committee is invited to fill out the applicable sections;

A Monthly Meeting is looking for responses as to how Meetings are using computers to support their Business, such as file storage that enable multiple Friends to access files for on-line collaboration and data back-up.

A number of web sites exist, such as http://quakerworship.org/ or http://www.quakersonline.org/ that allow Friends from all over the world to gather at their computer in Silent Worship in an on-line meeting for worship experience.
