Pacific Yearly Meeting’s Communications Committee will be bringing a proposal to the upcoming meeting of Representative Committee to implement and fund a contact management system. The system (called Salesforce NPSP) would help us communicate more easily with one another. This system can be used to develop directories, email distribution lists, and identify contact information for people in particular roles or with particular characteristics (think: “all parents of children between the ages of X and Y”, or “all treasurers of MM”).
will be was led by Espenshade Consulting, a Quaker-owned consulting firm who assisted Philadelphia Yearly Meeting with their Salesforce implementation.
The demonstration, which occurred March 1 via Zoom online meetings, was recorded and the recording is posted here. Be aware that there are a few seconds of silence at the beginning of the video.
